In a world where toys come to life, Andy’s the best friend Woody (Tom Hanks) could ask for. But, everything stands to change when Andy receives a new toy for his birthday, Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). There is a fear that Andy’s love for Woody has been replaced, and the entire team of toys work to make sure that no toy is left behind. When Buzz Lightyear winds up in Sid’s backyard, a rescue mission ensues shedding light on the true meaning of friendship and sharing.
