Where: Downtown Mall
Tom Tom Founders Festival is week of music, art, and innovation in Charlottesville, VA, April 13-19. The Festival combines real opportunities to launch ventures with ideas, art installations, bands, and parties in one of America’s most beautiful and historic small cities. This year, Tom Tom will feature dozens of events across Charlottesville’s pedestrian mall. Anchored by the daylong Tom Tom Founders Summit headlined by Reddit, the Container Store, Maker Faire, Lockn' Music Festival, and Chromat, the Festival will also include five free block parties, a farm-to-table restaurant week, three free pitch competitions, a mural series, and a Mid-Atlantic art fair.
Belmont Block Party: Sunday’s Belmont Block Party in Charlottesville’s most eclectic neighborhood stretches from The Bridge PAI to MAS, closing Downtown Belmont to traffic for the day. There will be local food, handmade awesomeness, craft beer, demos, and more.
Adrian Duke: Drenched with the sounds of New Orleans, Adrian Duke’s piano is overshadowed only by the raw emotional power of his voice. Although he has found a home as a Blues artist, by blurring the lines between Blues, Funk, R&B, and Jazz, he has found critical acclaim, audience acceptance, and artistic peer recognition.
Porchella: As the sun sets on the Belmont Block Party, a series of acoustic concerts and jam sessions take off on front porches throughout the historic neighborhood.
