Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. When diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Related Dementia, music legend Glen Campbell and his family did the unexpected – they launched a spectacular farewell tour across America. This film documents their journey as Glen and his family show us how love, laughter and music helped them deal with the wildly unpredictable nature of this disease.
Open to the community, the documentary will be shown at The Paramount Theater in Downtown Charlottesville. A reception will be held at 1:30pm followed by the film. Immediately following the film there will be a panel discussion with Dr. Kathleen Fuchs, Associate Professor, Clinical Neurology at UVA, Sue Friedman, President, Alzheimer’s Association, Central & Western Virginia Chapter and David B. Morris, prize winning author and Emeritus Professor of English, UVA. The panel will be facilitated by Marcello Rollando, host of This Week in Charlottesville.
