Directions to Parking on Water Street

From Monticello:

Follow VA 53 West 1.7 miles to intersection of VA 20. Turn right, follow VA 20 1/2 miles to the entrance ramp of I-64 West towards Staunton. Follow I-64 2.2 miles to Exit 120/5th Street. Turn right, and follow 5th Street 2.1 miles, to the 5th traffic light. At the 5th light, turn right onto Water Street. Three blocks ahead, at the first light on Water Street, is parking for Downtown.

From Airport/D.C./Northern Virginia:

Follow U.S. 29 South for 5.2 miles. Merge into the center lane marked U.S. 250 East ONLY. Go under the underpass and turn right onto the ramp to U.S. 250 East. Follow U.S. 250 East to the 3rd light, 1.9 miles. Turn right onto McIntire Road (you can only turn right onto McIntire Road). Stay on McIntire Road, go 1.1 miles to the 3rd light. At the 3rd light on McIntire Road, turn left onto Water Street. Three blocks ahead, at the first light on Water Street, is parking for Downtown.

From the University of Virginia:

Continue East on West Main Street. (Parking is 1.4 miles from the Rotunda at UVA). At the 7th light, stay in the right lane. Water Street is the center street. Three blocks ahead, at the first light on Water Street, is parking for Downtown.

From Richmond/U.S. 250 East:

Follow U.S. 250 until you reach the traffic light at McIntire Road. You can only turn left onto McIntire from U.S. 250. Once you make the left, follow McIntire Road 1.1 miles, turn left onto Water Street. Three blocks ahead, at the first light on Water Street, is parking for Downtown.

From points West/U.S. 250 West:

Stay on U.S. 250 West to the traffic light at McIntire Road. Turn right onto McIntire Road. (You can only turn right onto McIntire Road). Go 1.1 miles to the 3rd traffic light. Turn left at the light onto Water Street. Three blocks ahead, at the first light on Water Street, is parking for Downtown.
